Bryan Fischer serves as Horticulture Manager for HPEC. He holds a B.S. in Horticulture and an Interdisciplinary Minor in Organic Agriculture from Colorado State University. He oversees horticulture on our grounds and associated properties, take over revenue-generating horticulture contract management, and practice horticulture outreach.
Bryan brings extensive experience to this role, having served as Curator of Plant Collections at the Gardens on Spring Creek. There, he became known for his breadth and depth of horticulture knowledge and work as an authority in naturalistic garden design.
Bryan speaks and writes regularly on plants, horticulture, and gardening, and most recently collaborated with Lauren Springer to co-author The Rocky Mountain Native Plant Primer, a regional guide to gardening with native plants that released on April 7, 2026.
