Online Class Series: Gardening for Pollinators w/ Paul Opler

Instructor: Paul Opler, Retired Entomologist

Pollinators (birds, bees, butterflies) and other wildlife benefit greatly from gardeners utilizing Colorado native plants.

Last summer, Paul Opler, a retired entomologist, studied the insects in the HPEC gardens and listed nearly 200 species of bees in our gardens! Paul says that our gardens at HPEC are an “ecological super-site” because of the density and diversity of the native plants here. Paul will be offering a talk to present his findings, on March 19th.

This lecture will take place on Zoom. The meeting details will be emailed to attendees 2-3 days prior to the event.
